Blind Bay Painters Group

We are a group of inspirational, motivated and enthusiastic artists that meet every Tuesday at 9:30 am at the Blind Bay Hall, 2510 Blind Bay Road in Blind Bay, from September through June.

About Us:

We organize weekly programs including demonstrations, workshops from our members, drawing, plein air painting, etc. Periodically we invite outside instructors that organize workshops for our group.

We host a yearly Art Show & Sale in July displaying our artists' accomplishments throughout the year. This event is anticipated and well attended by locals and visitors alike.

Are you an artist? It doesn't matter the level you paint at or what medium you use, you are welcome to join our group.

History:

The Blind Bay Painters started in 1964 at the home of one of the artists — with six members. As the group expanded they were forced to move to a larger facility, and made the Blind Bay Hall their choice. To date, this group of artists has increased to some 40 members and continues to paint at the Blind Bay Hall.
