February 5: Five Corners Church is holding Divorce Care at Five Corners Church, 3160 - 10th Ave SE in Salmon Arm. A weekly Seminar and Support Group for those who are Separated or Divorced. Find Help, Discover Hope & Experience Healing. Every Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm starting Feb 5/12. Please call 250-832-3121 to be put in touch with the group leaders.

February 10: Cedar Heights Community Association is holding a Sleigh Ride at Walter's Sleigh Ride Stables, 2068 Notch Hills Road in Blind Bay. This is Open to members and non members. Cost is $12.00/person for 6 or more participants. Hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls will be served following the ride. To participate, contact Gloria at gloria16@telus.net to confirm your participation BEFORE February 1st.

February 11: 3rd Annual Winter Carnival Blues Festival, doors 6:00 p.m., first band 6:45 p.m. at the Vernon Recreation Centre, 3310 37th Avenue in Vernon. 5 bands, sorry no minors. Tickets and information online at www.vernonwintercarnival.com or 250-545-2236.

February 12: Five Corners Church is holding Date Night at Five Corners Church, 3160 - 10th Ave SE in Salmon Arm. This is a Focus on the Family sponsored event. It is free and we are offering free childcare if you book in advance. You do need to RSVP by Feb.9/12. It is from 6:30-9:00pm and everyone is welcome to this fun event, not just couples. There will be door prizes and snacks provided for the break. For booking please call 250-832-3121.

February 24: Cedar Heights Community Association is holding Card/games Night at Cedar Heights Community Centre, 2316 lakeview drive in blind bay area. A fun evening of cards and games including table tennis/pool. Feel free to bring games with you. Bring your own refreshments. Open to all. Cost: a loonie for members and a toonie for non-members. February 28: Five Corners Church is holding Watoto Presents — Beautiful Africa at Five Corners Church, 3160 - 10th Ave SE in Salmon Arm. Watoto Children's Choir will be performing from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. There is no admission fee, they will however, collect a free will offering and there will be handmade items (from Africa) for sale along with CD's of the Choir. Everyone is welcome!

March 11: St. Mary's Church is holding a Concert at 2:30 p.m. with the Northern Lights Chamber Choir at St. Mary's Anglican/United Church, 1188 Trans Canada Highway in Sorrento, BC. Tickets at the door are $15.

March 28: Cedar Heights Community Association is holding a Ladies Over-night Outing at Crazy Creek Resort, 6162 TCH 1 in Malakwa, www.crazycreekwaterfalls.com. Number 2,5 and 6 units have been reserved which will accommodate 8 or more people, cost depending on sleep arrangements. Pool cost is $10.64 or 24 hour pass for $16.00 plus tax. Plan to have pot luck supper and bring own food for breakfast. If interested, you must inform Gloria by March 18th. For info email Gloria or phone 250 675 0036. Open to everyone!

March 31: Sorrento Memorial Hall is having a Spring Craft Sale fund raiser from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Raffle and 50/50. Bring a friend and visit our Tea Room.

April 23 to 26: Cedar Heights Community Association is holding 4-day/3-night bus tour to Tulalip Resort and Skagit Tulips at on Sunfun tour bus trip, 929 Laval Cres. in Kamloops, leaving April 23rd. Cost depends on your type of accommodation. Poster will be posted at Cedar Centre. Important when contacting Suntours re payment to idenify that you are with Cedar Heights group, if we have 8 or more, bus will pick up in Blind Bay.
