MONDAYS

Cedar Heights: The 2nd Monday, monthly, the Cedar Heights Community Association holds a Pot Luck at the Cedar Centre, 2316 Lakeview Dr. in Blind Bay. Social Time 5:30 and supper 6:30. Please bring a dessert/salad/entree to serve 6-8 people. Join the fun and meet your neighbours.

TUESDAYS

Chase Curling Rink — dancing: clogging at 9:30a.m., line dancing at 10:00 a.m. New members welcome.

Cedar Heights: Tuesdays & Thursdays, Shuswap Dojo Karate at Cedar Heights Community Centre, 2316 Lakeview Dr., Blind Bay, B.C. Children: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Teens/Adults: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAYS

Cedar Heights: Horseshoes every Wednesday from April to October at 10:00 am, weather permitting at Cedar Heights Centre, 2316 Lakeview Dr. in Blind Bay at Sorrento, BC. Contact Ron for info, 675-5110.

Sorrento: The Food Bank at 2806 Arnheim Road is open for donations every Wednesday from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm. Fresh produce can be accepted only on hamper day which falls on the mid-month-Wednesday (call Tina at 250-253-3663 for the exact hamper date).

Salmon Arm: Shuswap Chess Club meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Seniors Centre, 170 – 5th Ave. All chess players welcome regardless of level.

THURSDAYS

Cedar Heights: The Cedar Heights Community Association is holds Ladies Afternoon Out at Cedar Centre, 2316 Lakeview Dr. in Blind Bay, BC. It operates every Thursday afternoon, except during summer months, from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. and provides a variety of activities for ladies to participate free of charge. ie: scrapbooking; knitting; card making; gardening ideas; plant exchanges; book exchanges; guest speakers, excursions, etc.

Cedar Heights: On the third Thursday of every month, Cedar Heights Community Association provides the opportunity for you to go to Kamloops tournament Centre to use the pool facilities (swimming) and indoor track. Cost: Adults $6.50, Seniors $4.50. Meet at 9:30 A.M. in Cedar Heights, 2316 Lakeview Dr. in Blind Bay, BC. in the upper parking lot off Cedar Drive. Members and non members welcome. FRIDAYS

Sorrento: Ladies Hiking every Friday afternoon. If you would like to join, contact us through our web site and we will keep you informed of time, location and changes as needed. Hikes are 3 to 6 hours long on trails designated from 'easy' to 'more difficult'.

SATURDAYS

Carlin: Coffee House at Carlin Hall on the first Saturday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

Sunnybrae: Coffee House at Sunnybrae Community Hall on the second Saturday of every month at 7:30 p.m. from October through to May. Doors open at 6:30.

Eagle Bay: Coffee House at Eagle Bay Hall on the fourth Saturday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

SUNDAYS

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

South Shuswap First Responders require volunteers. Practices are held at South Shuswap Fire Hall #2 on Greer Road. Contact the SSFRA to volunteer.
