In my 40's, after years of chiro and physio to treat arthritis and severe back problems, I became more dedicated to my yoga practice. I found that through a dedicated practice I could manage my problems, and continue to lead an active life.

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out and proclaiming, 'WOW, WHAT A RIDE!!!'"
— Bill McKenna

The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible. It
also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems.

Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind.

Yoga is more than just an exercise to get your physical body fit and healthy. Proper practice of yoga is intended at bringing mind, body and soul in perfect harmony.

Yoga can be simply a set of exercises or a total way of life.

Develop balance, strength and flexility by practicing the timelsss tradition of yoga postures called asanas.

Learn breathing techniques in pranayama for relaxation and concentration. Together, the yoga asanas and pranayama gently rejuvenate the body and enhance overall well being.

On a deeper level, yoga addresses the parasympathetic nervous system, the adrenals, the thyroid, the lymph system, and so much more.

It's never too late to start yoga. Yoga asanas can be modified and adapted to suit you — no matter what your age or your present physical condition.

Namasté.

A healthy body is like the flowing water of a river,
always fresh and pure.
